Lab awarded continuation funding from the NSF

I’m grateful to share that the National Science Foundation has approved continuation funding for my CAREER award, Trustworthy Federated Learning for Sensitive Domains, extending support through the project’s final year.

What this funds

This award supports two PhD students and one postdoctoral researcher working on:

1. Robustness guarantees for federated systems under adversarial participants.
2. Open-source tooling for reproducible federated-learning benchmarks.
3. A K-12 outreach curriculum introducing federated learning concepts to high school students.

The educational component has already reached over 300 students across six partner high schools, and we’re excited to expand that program this coming year.
